Weekend Fun

Scott started his vacation this weekend. Scott's parents also arrived this weekend. Saturday morning Jay, Betty, Cali, Grisham, Genevieve and I went to the zoo while Scott stayed home to sleep (post call). It was a bit cool but I love the fall days at the zoo. We started out in the reptile house, stopped to take pictures at just about all the statues and then to the penguins. They were out sunning themselves. Both Grisham and Cali wanted to ride the carousel. It makes me sick so Betty volunteered to go on with the kids. After the carousel we went over to Australia to see the kangaroos. They were also sunning themselves. Both the kids and I were getting pretty hungry and tired after our tour of Australia so we decided to go see the manatees and the fish really quick then go home. Scott will be able to go back to the zoo with his parents and Cali later this week and see more. Later Saturday Cali and Grisham played in the sandbox and Scott chased Genevieve around the back yard.
