What a great day for the zoo. The kids and I met up with Mary, Greg, Leah, Jessica and Hannah at the zoo. At first the day looked pretty cruddy out, being overcast and threatening to rain, but the clouds held in the rain and the temperatures climbed. We were able to see the gorillas, flamingos, oakapis, fish and monkeys. For such a nice day I was hoping to see a few more but it is still winter and not all the animals were out. Grisham and Greg chased each other around and really enjoyed each others company. Hannah, Genevieve and Leah hung back and watched mostly from the strollers. I think all the running and fresh air tired my kids out because they were both asleep by the time we got to the interstate. We had a great morning with our friends.
