Playgroups Christmas Party

Wednesday was the playgroups Christmas Party. Angie was kind enough to open her house to all the craziness. A few weeks ago we did a name drawing for presents. The kids names were divided up in two age groups. Big kids and little kids. Grisham got a present for Evelyn Bull and Genevieve got a present for Olivia Simpson. Brenner and Sophia were supposed to exchange gifts but I didn't have Sophia yesterday so we just got Brenner a toy. The kids played for a while before we opened presents. The kitchen was full of snacks but the only one interested in eating was Genevieve. Surprisingly the gift exchange went well. Grisham received a Transformer from Gavin Bull and Genevieve received a Leapfrog Magnetic Farm set from Elijah Moss. Everyone was very excited for their new toy. After the party we went to Steak and Shake with Erin and her girls. Erin was getting new tires put on the van and to kill time they wanted to go to lunch. I am always looking for ways to pass the time so we joined them. It was fun and we enjoyed hamburgers, mac and cheese, french fries and chicken strips. Oh and don't forget the chocolate shake!! The kids were exhausted by the time we got home and all took great naps.
