My Hero
Scott is my hero. We had some unwelcome tenants move into our swing set. They were either bumble bees or carpenter bees. Not sure but they got very territorial when ever we tried to use the slide or swings. So last night Scott went out there armed with a racket and a can of Raid. He found two nests and at least three really big bees. Now they are dead. He is my hero!!! Thanks Scott.

Auntie Sarah
My sister Sarah came for a visit this week. This was the first time out here since last summer. She said that she was coming to see me but I know that she was really just coming out here to see Grisham and meet Genevieve :) It was so nice having her here. We did all sorts of things together. She arrived last Thursday and left today. Last weekend we went and got my hair cut, went to lunch and did some shopping. It was just us girls. Grisham stayed home and played with Daddy. Later we all went out to Easton for dinner . We have been having nice warm weather so we tried to do things outside. Monday we went to the zoo. That was a lot of fun. We saw the gorillas, tigers, lions, elephants and more. We went to the aquarium (Grisham's favorite). He could spend hours watching the fish. The week went by so fast. I was sad to see her go but I know that she was ready to get home to her husband and quiet, kidless household. I really enjoyed having another adult to talk to during the day. Thanks Sarah. I miss you already!!!!

Woof Woof
Hey everyone. Life has become so busy. I started back to work and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. In fact, I may even consider taking on one more baby. Genevieve is doing so well. I think it is amazing how effortless it has been to integrate her into the family. It feels like she has always been here with us. I think newborns are my favorite. I know the up late , awake every few hours is rough but one look at that sweet face and it is all worth it. Call me crazy, but I can't help but start thinking about the next one. Life is good. Any way, I was going through some pictures and I found this one of our hairy babies. Scott's dad took this picture when they were here a few weeks ago. The statues were house warming gifts from the in-laws and if you have been to our house you know that they greet you at our front door (the statues and the dogs). Scott thought it would be cool to get a picture of the girls with their statues. They did well sitting in the yard posing. Aren't they beautiful.

I think she is the most beautiful girl!!
I know I may be biased here but I think Genevieve is the most beautiful little baby girl. We had our last professional photo session today. The pictures that I am posting today are from Saturdays session. All of these shots are of her awake. I could not get her to go to sleep. Today's session we got a few of her asleep but not many. I will post those at a later time. If anyone has questions about the photographer, let me know. Becca is just starting her business and she absolutely loves taking photos of kids and babies. She is a mom herself and is so good with kids. She even got Grisham to smile for some pictures. We are planning on getting family pictures end of May. I am looking forward to working with Becca again. I hope you all enjoy the pictures as much as I do.

Consevatory
Yesterday Mary, Julie and I went to the Conservatory. Mary was kind enough to take pictures of the kids and share them with me. We saw lots of pretty flowers, unusual plants and of course enjoyed the amazing butterfly garden. Julie has a son named Seth and a daughter named Lila. The three boys get along great. They had fun chasing each other. The only down side to our outing was all the field trip kids. Grisham gave me a scare a few times because he would get caught up in the crowd of kids and continue walking with them. He never seemed bothered by the fact that mommy was not with him. After the tour of all the different gardens we went outside to find an open space for the kids to run around. Greg and Grisham chased each other and they even got Lila in on their chase game. The kids had a great time playing and I enjoyed the conversation with Julie and Mary. Thanks for the great outing ladies!!!
