Walkin With My Buddy

Sunday morning the kids and I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in the Buddy walk for Down Syndrome. As you may know our dear friends Eric and Mary Elliott's daughter Leah has down syndrome. The event is held at Crew stadium (professional soccer) and we walk around it once. After the walk there is a live band, blow up bouncies, games, face paint and so much more. This year For Love of Leah team was in the top ten. We had an enormous turn out. I think the registered team was 90+. The Elliott's were kind enough to supply drinks and food for their walkers. Unfortunetly the kids and I had to leave shortly after the walk so we did not get to do many of the fun activities. Grisham had a melt down. I did get a few pictures before and during the walk :)

Hold on People!!

Hey friends and family. I have many many more pics to share with you. I just need to wait until the kiddos are in bed so I can sit down and post my 30+ pics. We had such a busy weekend and I am excited to share it with you. Until next time......

Zoo

This past weekend was a great one for the zoo. The animals were out because of the cool weather. When the kids and I go to the zoo we usually head straight for the gorillas and the aquarium but this time we went to North America and Asia first. When exiting Asia we got to hear the lion roar. It was amazing yet terrifying. I am so thankful for the fence that separated us. The Langurs had a new itty bitty baby (orange blob). The bears, wolves, bison, antelope, eagles, otters, wolverines and penguins were all out for our viewing pleasure. Of course we had to stop at the aquarium for Grisham. Genevieve even enjoyed looking at the fish.

The crazy things kids do....

Here are a few pictures of the kids in their natural habitat, doing what comes natural to them... like learning how to climb over baby gates, eating mac & cheese, almost rolling over and of course looking adorable while doing it all.
